These sour rainbow licorice belts from Bebeto are sliced into square inch belts and pack nice fruity sour chew, with a good balance of sweet and tart. The soft, chewy texture is fun to eat, and the bright rainbow colors make them perfect for parties or topping cakes. It comes in a big bulk back so they're easy to portion into smaller bags. At $15 for a big 2-pound bag, they're a decent deal per pound at about 8 bucks a pound.

I picked up the Bebeto Sour Rainbow Belt Bites and overall they were a fun candy to try. The first thing we noticed is that the sour level is pretty gentle. If you’re expecting a super intense sour kick (Like Albanese), these might seem a little mild, but they still have a nice sweet-tangy flavor.The texture is slightly different from some other rainbow belt candies we’ve had. They’re a bit softer than the name brand rainbow belts. The flavor was pretty good overall but have a bit of an aftertaste I just can't describe.One thing I really liked was the size of the bag. The 2-pound package gives you a lot of candy, so it’s great for sharing with family, using for parties, or even decorating desserts. The bright colors also make them really fun for topping treats. The only thing I wish is that the bag could be resealed after opening. Aside from that small detail, they arrived fresh. If you like mildly sour gummies and want a big bag to snack on, these are worth trying.

I was surprised at how good these are and how much everyone seemed to love them. I did some research. Bebeto is a reputable UK candy company, and Kervan is based in Turkey. The candy definitely has a more European taste, meaning it's not as sweet or overwhelming as similar US-made candy. I know it’s not that different, but these are made with corn syrup instead of high fructose corn syrup. I have to say, I really like them. They are a great size for snacking, and since they are smaller, it’s easy to want to grab a few more. The sugar makes them sweet, and they aren’t too sour, so it’s a good combo that's easy to eat. The square has ridges, and the only way I can describe it is like a ribbon. I love the texture and how they feel as they roll over my tongue. Although they are soft and chewy, they aren’t sticky and don’t get stuck in your teeth. They feel well-made and not tough to chew. Getting a bag this big was a must because everyone at the party enjoyed them too. The price is reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.

I am not a huge fan of regular licorice, but I love sour, so I had to try these. They are quite yummy in my opinion. They are not the chewy "straw" type of candy, but are, in fact, a rainbow licorice underneath the sour crystals. They are a little tough but not too tough. The sour crystals stick to them well, but of course, any candy with this coating is going to be a bit messy. No big deal!The value at the time is great (research that because prices change), and I have no complaints.For those looking for a very sour candy, though, these are not it. They give a nice, quick little sour flavor like similar candy.

A terrific value of delicious candy in bulk. My sweet tooth is definitely satisfied.They are quite tart and sour until the coating is gone, then the licorice has a mellow flavor that isn't overly sweet. They tasted fresh and texture was chewy and slightly snappy as you'd expect a licorice belt to be. Very nice quality candy especially for the price.

These licorice belts are interesting. This was the first time I had them and they're not quite what I expected. This might be old hat for someone looking at these but I figure I should let people know what they're like. They're thinner than I expected, and therefore also more chewy. I was expecting something more like a sour gummy but they're thing and tough, like they're candy jerky almost, not hard mind you, just an odd chewiness. They're good though. They have a nice non-descript fruity flavor and smell. Also, they're decently sour, unlike most sour candies, these definitely hit you the moment you try one as opposed to some that seem to need to be eaten for a while so the sourness builds.At an MSRP of 14.99 for 2 pounds (at time of review) these are an interesting experience, but I feel they might be a little expensive too. At 7 dollars per pound I think personally I'd rather get a different candy that's cheaper per pound. Certainly worth trying once.

Very nice 2lbs of candy! Smells sweet and fruity. Texture is a little grainy but i think this is mostly the sugar coating. taste fresh and not stale. Huge bag of candy! Great value! Highly recommend. Only thing i wish is it was a ziplock or resealable bag.

Bebetos Sour Rainbow licorice is now my favorite sour candy ever. My son and I couldn't get enough, we almost ate 1/2 the bag over the weekend! Just the right amount of sour, not over the top, not underwhelming. Just right! I'm trying my best to finish this bag on my own, so I can feel okay about ordering another bag so soon. Yum! These sour rainbow licorice bites are delicious! They have the perfect amount of sweet and sour in my opinion. i'm not usually a fan of licorice texture, but because these are thin and flat and not the typical tube shape they don't bother me at all. They are firm and chewy, but not tough.They are a little messy, with the sugar coating but they don't leave your fingers sticky. i do not know what flavor they are, just wonderful sourness. If you enjoy sour candies, you will probably enjoy these. The are packaged in a clear plastic bag and appear very fresh. Price is average compared to similar products. Delicious!

These actually exceeded my expectations. They're not too sweet and just the right amount of sour. They do give that furry teeth feeling, but only if you eat a few. It doesn't happen right away. One thing that surprised me despite the title is that they are licorice rope (think those red twisted ones we're all familiar with) under all the sugar and citric acid. Each color stripe is a thin strand, and these break apart when you chew them. At first I found it offputting texture-wise, but then when I realized what was happening I quite enjoy the sensation. They're very, as folks across the pond would say, more-ish. Tasty and you keep finding yourself going back for more. And the price for a massive bag like this was really a good deal.

These Bebeto sour rainbow licorice belt bites are delicious they have just the right amount of sweetness and sourness without being overpowering I also like how soft they are they don’t get stuck on your teeth either the colors are nice these candies are perfect for using in the Easter eggs or Valentine’s Day candy bags they are an excellent value there is so many pieces in this package another thing I like is that they taste fresh quality is good they aren’t hard and are an excellent value

These rainbow-colored candy pieces are quite sour, in my opinion - as advertised! The consistent layer of sugar complements - or perhaps "offsets"? - the sour perfectly. These arrived fresh, soft, and chewy, and 2 lbs for $15 is a fair price. The only thing I might wish for is a slightly stronger "fruit" taste to accompany the sour. Recommend!

These Bebeto Sour Licorice Belts are a fun, sweet treat. My grandkids loved them! They are sour but not overly so. I love licorice so I like the licorice flavor combined with the sourness. They are pretty thin, I wish they were a bit thicker and had more substance to them. The rainbow ones would be an adorable decoration on top of rainbow or unicorn cupcakes. I am trying to think of a way to incorporate them into some kind of St. Patrick’s Day treat or dessert. I will warn you the sour coating gets all over the place once you open the bag and give these to kids.

I ordered this 2lb sour licorice because I enjoy sour candy. Boy, I couldn’t wait to open the package and taste them. They sure do taste fruity and not too sour. Which is perfect for my husband and I. It’s still awesome that it is a 2lb bag, which is a great value, the colors are bright, the texture feels fine and they are addicting! You can’t go wrong with these, a great value and super yummy. I recommend them and the quality is impeccable.

I LOVE sweet and sour candies, and I love licorice. These rainbow belt bites are the perfect bite size snack for people who like both! They have a sweet smell, taste fresh, and have that licorice chew I’m looking for. The sour crystals provide that little bit of sour I want without twisting my face up. It’s also a HUGE bag of licorice belts for the price. I don’t know anyone selling such a huge bag for the price. Definitely going to be part of my snack rotation!

Bebeto, at one point in time, made Crayola sour belts bites, which were the best - not extremely sour but had good flavor. These aren't quite the same, but they're the closest I've found!
